Soil Reinforcement units for retaining Structure
The Green SSMESH System combines a gabion facia with an integrated reinforcement tail to create stable, vegetated soil-retaining structures and consolidated slopes. Designed with a continuous base panel for reinforcement, the system incorporates a welded mesh front face and an erosion-control geotextile that retains soil while enabling vegetation growth. Its angular front profile naturally supports greening, blending structural performance with environmental aesthetics.
Performance & Advantages
For higher embankments and steep slopes, the Green SSMESH System can be paired with geogrids to enhance tensile resistance and global stability. This hybrid configuration delivers a flexible, durable and environmentally responsive solution ideal for highways, railways, riverbanks, land development & eco-sensitive zones providing long-term stability while restoring natural vegetation and reducing erosion.
The Hot dip galvanised wire used to manufacture the double twisted hexagonal wire mesh is soft annealed, low carbon content mild steel wire with heavy zinc coating as per IS 280, EN10224/ASTM A 641. For aggressive natural conditions, Further coating of advance polymer / Polyvinyal Chloride (PVC) coating done of 0.50mm thick uniformly.
Shri Sai ensure 100% quality product by complying quality assurance plan under ISO 9001:2015 norms and meeting the quality standard IS16014 and international standard ASTM and EN.
