Double SSMESH System
Shri Sai Double SSMESH System uses a double-twist hexagonal gabion facia with an integrated reinforcement tail to create robust reinforced soil structures with near-vertical facings. Built with a continuous base panel that links reinforcement and facia, the system offers high structural integrity for walls up to ~8 metres (subject to geology). For higher embankments, the gabion facia is combined with geogrids to achieve greater tensile capacity and global stability.
Performance & Structural Configuration
Where required, gabion facia units can be constructed on both sides (LHS and RHS) using a common integrated tail, allowing a balanced and stable retaining configuration. The front face is formed by connecting a back panel and central diaphragms to create rectangular stone-filled cells, ensuring excellent confinement, drainage and long-term durability—ideal for retaining walls, high-load embankments, and slope consolidation works.
The Hot dip galvanised wire used to manufacture the double twisted hexagonal wire mesh is soft annealed, low carbon content mild steel wire with heavy zinc coating as per IS 280, EN10224/ASTM A 641. For aggressive natural conditions, Further coating of advance polymer / Polyvinyal Chloride (PVC) coating done of 0.50mm thick uniformly.
Shri Sai ensure 100% quality product by complying quality assurance plan under ISO 9001:2015 norms and meeting the quality standard IS16014 and international standard ASTM and EN.
Why “Double SSMESH System” Matters?
- Provides superior strength for heavy-duty retaining applications
